Allison supports community gun violence reduction and intervention, correctional reentry, and DEIJA projects. Prior to this role, Allison worked in the Healthcare sector where she supported a portfolio of clients in a staffing and HR capacity. Allison graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and has a Masters in Psychology with a concentration in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience from George Mason University, where her research focused on misinformation processing and belief polarization.
Allison lives in Arlington, Virginia with her partner, her friendly neighborhood American Pit Bull Terrier, Ruth Bader Ginsburg (Ruthie for short), and her 15 lb cat, Nala. In her spare time, Allison enjoys weight lifting, cooking, and taking Ruthie for adventures to local hiking trails and restaurants.
