Alonna Berry

Senior Director

With over fifteen years of experience in education, policy, and consulting, Alonna Berry is a Senior Director at Social Contract, a firm that helps organizations achieve their social impact goals. Alonna currently leads the consulting team supporting the company's internal leadership, learning, and design strategy. Prior to this role at Social Contract, Alonna led the equity and impact practice, advising clients on designing and implementing strategies that promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and access (DEIA) across various sectors and communities.

Alonna is also a Doctoral Candidate in Organizational Learning and Innovation at Wilmington University, researching best practices for the statewide implementation of trauma-informed care. Previously, she served as the Director of Community and Family Services in the Office of Governor John Carney of Delaware, where she was the Policy Advisor for Health, Equity, Housing, and Education and the Statewide Trauma-Informed Care Coordinator. Alonna is passionate about creating positive social change through education and policy leadership, and she is the founder of The Bryan Allen Stevenson School of Excellence, a public charter high school named after the renowned justice advocate and Delaware native. Alonna holds multiple degrees and certifications in relevant fields and has received several honors and awards for her work.
