Vanessa Segundo

Senior Consultant

Vanessa Segundo is a Senior Consultant at Social Contract, where she manages a portfolio of internal and external projects to ensure cutting-edge, evidence-driven practice across the firm and optimal outcomes for our clients and the communities we serve. A former educator, turned consultant, Vanessa engages evaluation and data as both tool and process of/for liberation. Prior to joining Social Contract, Vanessa was a senior research and evaluation associate consultant at Mirror Group, where she designed and implemented nation-wide evaluations, strategy campaigns, and learning and development workshops for public health and arts-focused philanthropies vested in addressing equity, power dynamics, and value alignment in grantmaking. 

Vanessa holds a PhD in Education from the University of California, Davis, and earned her MSEd in Adult and Higher Education, with an emphasis in Student Affairs from Northern Illinois University, along with her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Vanessa lives in Chicago, Illinois with her husband and two sons where you can find them eating their way through local eateries, cycling, running, and exploring libraries.
