Social Contract Announces New Executive Vice President of Impact, Operations, and Regional Development

The addition of Drewry Fennell marks the company’s tenth new hire in 2022.

Wilmington, DE – October 10, 2022 Social Contract, LLC a women and minority-owned social and collective impact consulting firm based in Wilmington, Delaware, today announced the addition of Drewry (Drew) Nash Fennell, Esq., to their leadership team. Joining the team as Executive Vice President of Impact, Operations, and Regional Development, Drew will lead the firm’s ongoing growth. Drew brings nearly 30 years of experience and a lifetime commitment to creating more just and equitable systems.

Prior to this role, Drew spent five years as a Senior Vice President at  ChristianaCare, where she led communications, marketing, patient experience, and philanthropy. Before joining ChristianaCare, Drew served as Chief of Staff to former Delaware Governor Jack Markell, and as the Executive Director  of the Delaware Criminal Justice Council. Drew has significant expertise working across sectors with a focus on policy, strategy and impact. She spent several years in private practice as an attorney before becoming the Executive Director of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Delaware.

As part of her new position, Drew will help Social Contract become a nationally recognized social impact, philanthropic and government consulting firm by expanding the client base and helping develop a foundation for scale to support continued growth.

“Drew has had a prolific career and is uniquely positioned to help Social Contract maintain our consistent trajectory,” noted Ron Berry, Managing Partner. “Since our founding in 2017, we’ve seen incredible growth, and Drew is the right person to help us prepare for the next phase of our organization.”

Drew has received numerous accolades and honors over the course of her career, from dozens of organizations and entities, including  the Delaware Human Rights Commission, University of Delaware, Rutgers University School of Law, the Delaware State Bar Association, the Delaware YWCA and many others. In 2019, she was inducted into the Delaware Women’s Hall of Fame. She has graciously donated her time and expertise to multiple nonprofit organizations, serving on the board for the Delaware Center for Justice, Delaware First Media, and Equality Delaware, to name a few. She currently serves as Chair of the Delaware Community Foundation.
